During your stay, we will be on property but are not interacting in person with guests as to keep you and our staff safe.

Our employees will use gloves & masks at all times.  They will be checked prior to their shift each day for any symptoms of illness. As always, they will not be allowed to work their shift if they have any symptoms of illness.

We will greet you in the main parking lot at a safe distance upon your arrival and direct you to your room. You will find the keys in the room and an orientation sheet of the workings of the room inside the room.

Breakfast service will be delivered to your guest room daily from 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. All items will be wrapped, and we have disposable silverware/napkin packets upon request. A menus is provided for you in your room. Afternoon snacks are individually wrapped and available upon request.

We have sanitized your guest room and are allowing 24-48 hours between guests. We change out ALL bed linens between guests. We have provided extra bath linens and bath amenities for use during your stay. We will not have housekeeping service your room during your stay. We have provided extra bath amenities and bath linens. Please use your do not disturb sign on your room door during your stay.

Check out is by 11:00 a.m. Please don’t forget to leave your keys in room and use the “make up room” sign when you depart. We will email you a receipt.

Prior to June 15,Carmel Beach and surrounding walking paths are open and we ask you please practice the 6-foot social distancing rule and use a mask when in public, as Monterey County is under a Shelter in Place order.

Cancellation Policy: All cancellations are subject to a $20.00 processing fee, regardless of date of cancellation received. We have a seven (7) day cancellation policy. Should you cancel your reservation seven (7) days prior to your arrival or less than seven (7) days, you will be responsible for all nights we are unable to resell. This policy also applies to changes that shorten a reservation and early checkouts. Holiday and Special Event periods may include a minimum night’s stay and a Thirty (30) day cancellation. Cancellation policy for all 3rd party booking engines differ from the inn’s policy mentioned below.

Accessibility: Carmel Country Inn is committed to facilitating the accessibility and usability of this website for all people with disabilities. We will continue to implement the relevant portions of the World Wide Web Consortium’s Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0 Level AA (WCAG 2.0 AA), or such other standards as required by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). We are in the process of upgrading our ADA Compliant King Studio with a new look, to include updated spacious bath, new furnishings and décor. Located in the main building on the ground floor, this studio features an open floor plan with king bed, fireplace, flat screen tv, and will have a new roll in shower in the spacious bathroom. Your private dutch door entrance has easy access to ADA parking right outside your studio.

Pets: Pets are welcome in all guests rooms. We charge a $20.00 fee per pet, per day. Please refer to our Pets page for details of bringing your pet and let us know if you plan to bring a pet.

Children:  Children are welcome as long s maximum capacity is not breached.  We ask that recreational items not be used on inn property.  Guardians are responsible for children’s behavior at all times as it relates to safety and preserving the peace and quiet of other guests. Children under the age of 12 may not be left unattended anywhere on inn property.  An additional person fee may apply.

Smoking:  We do not allow smoking of any kind anywhere on inn property.
