You can take a short walk from our inn to Carmel Beach and see the famous #9 and #10 holes of the famed Pebble Beach Golf Course. Pebble Beach Golf Course is the site of the annual AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament. Each year, pros and celebrities alike gather for a week of fun and golf, benefiting local Carmel and Monterey area charities.
AT&T Pro-Am Tournament
The AT&T Pro-Am tournament began with Bing Crosby hosting a few Hollywood friends to play along with the PGA tournament back in the Crosby Clambake days. These days, you’re likely to see Bill Murray, Justin Timberlake, Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Clint Eastwood, and Alice Cooper, Kenny G and many actors and musicians throughout the week. Even the San Francisco Giant and San Francisco 49ers current players and alumni play a tournament for a charity one day during the week.
- Hint: AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am Golf Tournament practice rounds begin the Monday prior and are not crowded. Players and Celebrities are laid back and congenial to the galleries. Cameras and parking are allowed thru Wednesdays of the tournament week.
