The gardeners have been hard at work this week planting all the pretty springtime flowers and I have been supervising. It’s been warm and sunny and I just love the smell of potting soil. The Daffodils just finished blooming and now the Calla lilies, Alstromerias, Honeywort, Cinerarias, Impatiens, Camelias, Fuchsias (the Fuchsias are the humming birds favorites) the Jasmine blooms make me sneeze and so many other flowers are blooming in our Carmel gardens that I would have to get out the Sunset Western Garden book to name all of them. They gals have been out to Carmel Valley to the flower nurseries there to select all the pretty spring colors. Gotta go now and roll around in the sunshine. Be sure to plan a trip soon to Carmel Bed and Breakfast while all the pretty flowers are in full bloom!
